On June 29, 2026, at the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of five candidates for the position of a judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal was considered.
Svitlana Muratova and Viktor Ivanov have confirmed their ability to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal. A break in the consideration of the issue concerning Mykhailo Odariuk and Serhii Ahafonov has been announced.
Serhii Stadnyk failed to confirm his ability to administer justice at the Sumy Court of Appeal.
Please be reminded that 93 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 45 vacant positions of judges at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 58 candidates for the Kyiv Court of Appeal: 28 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 20 candidates failed to confirm it, and 10 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.
