The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, on August 05, 2026, approved the decoded results of the practical assignment in the specialisation of the local general court (the fourth stage of the qualification exam), completed on October 14–17, 20–24, 28–31 and November 17, 2025 by candidates for the position of a judge in local court and judges who have expressed an intention to be transferred to another local court.

Please be reminded that the selection of candidates for the position of a judge in local court was announced by the Commission’s Decision No. 366/zp-24 dated December 11, 2024, taking into account 1,800 projected vacant positions of judges in local courts, including 1,400 positions in local general courts.
Pursuant to the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine No. 367/zp-24 dated December 11, 2024, judges intending to be transferred to another local court were invited to submit applications to sit the qualification exam.
A total of 7,382 candidates for the position of a judge in local court and 495 judges who have expressed an intention to be transferred to another local court were admitted to the qualification exam in the specialisation of the local general court.
A total of 2,660 candidates for the position of a judge in local court and 191 judges who have expressed an intention to be transferred to another local court were admitted to the practical assignment in the specialisation of the local general court.
The passing score for the fourth stage of the qualification exam was set at 75 per cent of the maximum possible score, or 112,5 points.
The results of the practical assignment in the specialisation of the local general court were established for 2,834 persons (17 persons did not appear):
- 2,253 persons achieved the passing score;
- 581 persons failed to achieve the passing score:
16 persons scored between 0,00 and 44,76 points;
156 persons scored between 50,66 and 100,00 points;
409 persons scored between 100,12 and 112,26 points.
The exercise by participants in the qualification exam of their rights, as provided for by the Regulation on the Procedure of Qualification Examination and Methodology for Evaluation of Candidates, approved by the Commission’s Decision No. 185/zp-24 dated June 19, 2024 (as amended), to review certain exam materials shall be carried out in accordance with the following recommendations (in Ukrainian).
