On 29 October 2026, a panel of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine conducted interviews and determined the results of the qualification assessment of two candidates for judicial positions at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
Following the qualification assessment, Olena Luzhetska scored 698.13 points. The issue of confirming her ability to administer justice in a general court of appeal was referred to the Commission for consideration in plenary session.
Consideration of the issue concerning Mykhailo Yushkov was postponed until 19 November 2026.
Please be reminded, 93 candidates applied for 45 vacant judicial positions at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.
In total, 80 candidates were interviewed: 33 confirmed their ability to administer justice, 31 did not, and 16 will be interviewed by the Commission sitting in plenary session. Five candidates have ceased participating in the competition.
